As a mom who struggles with her mental health, between anxiety and depression while learning how to reparent myself and parent my children, my days are so up and down. The biggest thing that has helped me manage my mental health struggles is my relationship with God. He saved us all but He really saved me from myself. Part of how I cultivate our relationship is through reading His word. But I have always struggled when it comes to reading the Bible. So much so that I just stuck to devotionals. Devotionals are great but the true way to really know God is by reading the Bible ourselves. Bible studies have done just that for me. I was able to dive into the word but also have a guide so I didn’t gloss over the words. I was really able to understand scripture and the prompted questions led me to prayer which is also hard for me at times. But the bible studies made it so easy for me. So if you have this struggle but yearn to get closer to God then I decided to share my favorite Bible Studies for moms that I have completed thus far and some more resources to help you grow your relationship with God below.

This is a great one if you struggle with anxiety like I do. It helped a lot and it is so great to be able to find verses to talk back to yourself in moments of high anxiety. Highly recommend!

This is one if you struggle with depression. I can’t tell you how many times when I was going through depression where the scripture and the devotion was exactly what I needed to hear. I loved the questions as well, it allowed me to really dig deep!

This was my first bible study which made me fall in love with bible studies. It had insightful questions and really taught me how to get quiet with God.

Above are all the bible studies I have done thus far. There are also a ton of further devotional and bible studies that are smaller but just as great that I have bought from Daily Grace Co. They are always having a sale and can’t recommend their stuff enough!
