Where To Create Your Baby Registry

You are finally at that time in your pregnancy where you need to put together a baby registry. There are so many stores to choose from but also many options now online. It can be super overwhelming trying to narrow down your options and choose the best place to maximize your list.

The shopping market is saturated with all sorts of baby products. It can be hard to even know what to register for when you have never had a baby before. So picking a great place for your baby registry is important for your loved ones and experienced mamas to pick out products that they love and recommend.

When thinking about where to register, it’s important to keep in mind who will be buying for you. I recommend having an online option for those who are far away and a couple popular stores that everyone can shop at.

Below are a few stores (online and in person) where I registered for my first son that I loved and will recommend over and over again. These stores made the overwhelming process of building a registry for my son easier, fun, and stress free.

Amazon

Amazon is my number one choice for building the perfect registry. Amazon is user friendly, organized, and offers great incentives for the parents’ to be. Below are a few perks and incentives that Amazon has to offer when you build a baby registry with them.

amazon incentives for building a baby registry

Like I mentioned before, there are so many baby products out there that it can be super overwhelming to know where to start. Amazon organizes all the baby products into categories for you allowing that extra guidance on how to start building your baby registry. You will find this under the “Ideas and Inspiration” tab. See below.

Amazon also gives you the option to create a baby registry checklist with categories to help get you started on creating your unique list.

Not only is Amazon user friendly for parents to be but it is also user friendly for those that will be doing the shopping. The registry button is easy to find and all they have to do is search your names. Amazon will have your shipping address ready to go so your family and friends do not have to worry about wrapping or going to pick up the gifts. It is sent right to your house for convenience.

You can’t go wrong registering for your baby with Amazon. Start building your baby registry with Amazon today by clicking the link. Trust me from a first time mom, you will not regret it.

Target

I am a basic girl and I love Target for all things especially baby things. Target is the perfect store to build a baby registry. It’s affordable, popular, and the baby stuff is all in one section.

You can add baby items in store and also online. There are more options online so definitely utilize the online store to maximize your list. But don’t forget to create a healthy list for in store items for those that prefer to shop in person.

Target is super convenient for shoppers as well. The registry is right when you walk in. Your registry will be printed with all the items your registered for. Each item has the aisle and item number where it can be found making it fast and easy process for your family and friends.

Target also has perks and incentives for the parents’ to be. See below.

They also have helpful tools making the process stress free and fun.

Target is another great option to register for your baby especially for those who aren’t on board with ordering products online.

Babylist

Babylist is also a great place to register for your baby. It is suited to more of an online experience. What is really neat about babylist is that you can add items from any store and it’s all in one place for you. This more of an option for you if you’d rather have one giant registry.

Another perk to Babylist is that you can add other gift ideas in the form of help and favors. You also get a free Hello Baby Box. See below.

Another fun perk to the Babylist is you can add items from Etsy. Etsy has such great baby finds that are uniquely crafted from other moms and you get to support small businesses.

You can also add other registries to Babylist which is really convenient. This is a better idea in my personal opinion so that way you still get the perks and incentives of signing up with other stores like Amazon and Target above.

The only negative thing I would say is that if you only sign up with babylist, it forces those who aren’t keen on online shopping to shop online. That’s why I stuck with creating three registries for plenty of options to cater to each individual. And also because as you see above the perks and incentives are too good to pass up for parents to be.

I hope this guide lifts off some stress for you as you venture into finding the perfect items that you will use for your baby. It helps knowing where to start and having recommendations. Good luck on your journey to becoming a mama and happy shopping! <3

  1. Great job putting this list together! It would be fun to see can’t do without on the registry–so many things we put on these days, we never use 🙂 My must have is onesies, pack n play, and tons of diapers!

    1. Thank you! 🙂 I do have a post on must have baby items but definitely would be fun to put together a registry list of all the baby things I used! And yes those three things are a definite must!
